What is a Money Sigil?

The word sigil comes from the Latin word sigillum, meaning seal or signet. A sigil is a representation you create to work with your subconscious mind to achieve whatever you want. Creating a sigil in magic helps you to define your purpose.

The sigil doesn’t hold magical power. Instead, it serves as a conduit to your subconscious mind. This is why it’s often more powerful to create your own sigil than use someone else’s.

Money sigils are intended to attract wealth and prosperity and help you achieve your monetary goals. By making a money sigil, you can use the power of your subconscious to attract whatever financial abundance you desire.

The Magic Meanings Behind Money Sigils

Sigil magic works by getting around your conscious mind to connect with your subconscious. The conscious mind frequently doubts and blocks desires, but your subconscious has unlimited potential.

Money sigils use symbols rather than words to communicate with the subconscious to instill your financial desires, allowing them to manifest as you live your life. Once you’ve created a money sigil, consciously release it so it can successfully connect with your subconscious.

How to Make a Money Sigil for Prosperity

Creating a money sigil is a fun and personal process. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you design a sigil that attracts prosperity:

Set Your Intention

Start by deciding exactly what outcome you want to achieve. Formulate a clear, positive statement about your financial goal in the present tense, such as “I easily attract wealth” or “Money flows to me freely.”

Avoid negative phrases like “don’t,” “won’t,” or “not.” Use positive words instead. Choose strong and meaningful words for your sigil.

Create Your Design

There are a variety of ways to create any type of sigil. There are 5 popular types of sigils: pictorial, word, magic circles, magic squares, and automatic writing. I highly recommend you watch my YouTube video above for a detailed tutorial on each one.

You can also use Celtic Oghams and Elder Futhark Runes to create a type of Bind Rune sigil. Next, I’ll show you some money sigil examples for each sigil type. I’m also going to throw in a few ideas to help give you some inspiration.

Pictorial Sigil for Abundance

Sometimes, the sigil connects more easily with the subconscious when the intention appears as an image instead of words. You can easily incorporate occult symbols into your money sigil as well.

Common images found in money sigils include coins, gems, dollar signs, a treasure chest, an infinity symbol, the Tree of Life (growth and abundance), and other abundance symbols. Protection sigils work in a similar way but instead use symbols representing protection and defense.

Word Sigils for Prosperity

When making a money word sigil, begin with your intention. Then, remove any repeating letters. If you find it difficult to combine the letters into a design, try removing the vowels as well.

Finally, you’re left with the final letters to design your prosperity sigil. Feel free to move the letters around in various directions to make the sigil look how you want. Get creative!

For an example, let’s use the intention: Money flows to me freely. After removing repeating letters, we have m o n e y f l w s t r. Let’s remove the vowels, too, leaving us with m n f l w s t r. Then, I spent some time layering them in different ways until I was happy with how they looked.

Magic Circle For Money

When using a Magic Circle to create a money sigil, simply draw or trace a circle. Then, write the alphabet within the circle. I recommend simplifying your intention as much as possible. Use a pen to spell out your final letters and connect them using the circle.

For this example, let’s use the intention: I easily attract wealth. After removing repeating letters, we have i e a s l y t r c w h. Let’s remove the vowels, too! That leaves us with s l t r c w h. Now, use your magic circle to connect the letters and create your money sigil!

Automatic Writing

Using the Automatic Writing technique helps you relax and get into a meditative state when making this money sigil. Loosen your pencil or pen grip and let it move on your paper.

The final result will look scribbled and unclear. Using your intuition pull out what images or shapes you see in the shape before you. Consider your intention, and use this to create a sigil.

Magic Square Sigils for Money

Magic squares are considered spiritual when the numbers total the same amount when added horizontally, vertically, AND diagonally. In the Lo Shu Grid Magic Square example below, every direction totals 15.

Using your intention with the Lo Shu Grid Magic Square will easily help you make a money sigil in conjunction with the Magic Square Sigil Chart below. If this is confusing at all, here’s my step-by-step video tutorial.

For this example, let’s use the intention: As my happiness shows, my prosperity grows. After removing repeating letters, we have a s m y h p i n e o w r t g. Now, let’s remove the vowels to simplify this sigil: s m h p n w r t g.

Now, use the remaining letters (s m h p n w r t g) with the Magic Square Sigil Chart to convert to numbers: 1 4 8 7 5 5 9 2 7. Then we’ll remove any consecutive repeats, which in this case is the 5: 1 4 8 7 5 9 2 7.

Now add these numbers to the Lo Shu Grid Magic Square to create a money sigil! When complete, draw your sigil on its own and use it however you like!

Bind Rune Sigil for Unlimited Money

One of my favorite sigil-making techniques is creating a Bind Rune using Norse Runes. So, I thought I’d make a Bind Rune Sigil example for unlimited money!

You could also try creating this Green Money Candle Spell. This spell infuses the energy of a Money Candle into a coin of your choice. It will become a lucky coin that helps you attract money.

Activate Your Sigil

After you’ve finished creating your sigil, you should emotionally and spiritually disconnect from it. Place it someplace out of mind. This can last as long as you believe is necessary. It could be a few days, a week, or even a lunar cycle. Once you’ve entirely detached from your sigil, it’s time to charge it.

Your sigil can be charged with various energies, the most common of which are emotional, sexual, and spiritual. It’s important to find an approach that works best for you and that you feel comfortable with. There is no wrong way to do it!

Alternatively, you can destroy your sigil. There is some debate about this in the spiritual community, so you’ll need to decide for yourself. When deciding, consider your sigil intention. Practitioners who prefer destroying a sigil believe it helps release the intention, allowing it to fulfill its goal.

Money spells will typically attract money to you, but this does not guarantee it will come as a regular payment. Remember to give it time. Patience is key, as your intention could be aligning circumstances in ways you don’t see yet.

I often visualize my sigil along with the corresponding intention before bed to help it manifest more quickly. Trust the process and remain open to the different ways prosperity can come into your life.
